Director

Fahim is an Associate Director Software Engineer at UBS, a position he has held since August 2023, having initially joined the company in January 2022. Prior to UBS, he worked at J.P. Morgan from August 2016 to January 2022, where he held roles including Senior Associate Software Engineer, Associate Software Engineer, and Analyst Software Engineer. He began his career at the University of York in April 2014 as a Secretary and transitioned to the role of International Student Ambassador before leaving in June 2016. Additionally, he worked as a Junior Developer at Enki.com from August to October 2015.

Fahim earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Avionics/Electronics from the University of York, completing his studies in June 2016.

Mike is a Product Owner at UBS, a position he has held since his promotion in November 2022. He has previously worked in six roles at UBS, including Lead of Transformation and Automation UK, Accounting Control, Business Manager, Global Equity Derivatives Decision Support, New Business & Operational Risk, and Accounting Control. Before joining UBS, he was a Senior Audit Manager in Banking & Capital Markets at Deloitte from September 2004 to October 2006. He also served as an Equities Product Control Manager at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from March 2001 to August 2004 and at ING Barings from September 1998 to January 2001. Earlier in his career, he was an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche from September 1992 to September 1998.

Mike holds an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School (2002 - 2007) and studied for a FCA at ICAEW (1992 - 1995).

Paul is the Managing Director and Head of Debt Capital Markets, Australasia at UBS, a position he has held since March 2024. He has previously served in five roles at UBS, including Executive Director | Head of Debt Capital Markets, Executive Director, Director, Associate Director, and Analyst. Before joining UBS, he worked as a Client Liaison Officer and Manager at Telstra from December 2004 to November 2008. He also completed a Summer Internship at UBS Investment Bank from December 2007 to February 2008 and a Summer Internship at Macquarie Bank from December 2006 to February 2007. 

Earlier in his career, Paul was an Intermediate Auditor and Financial Accountant at UHY Haines Norton from January 2003 to July 2003. 

He holds a degree in Commerce and Law from the University of Sydney (2004 - 2008) and completed his high school education at Hurlstone Agricultural High School (1998 - 2003).

Jason Smith left the firm following its acquisition by Janus Hendeson Tabula Investment Management has appointed Rhys Petheram as its new CIO following the departure of Jason Smith. He replaces Smith who was at Tabula for over five years and who played a "key" role in expanding the groups ETF portfolio and facilitating its recent acquisition by Janus Henderson. Petheram joins from Jupiter Asset Management where he was most recently head of environmental investment solutions. He was also fund manager for fixed income and multi-asset having spent 17 years at the firm. In addition, the group hired Adam Glen-Bott to its investment team. He was previously a quantitative researcher and portfolio manager at UBS, joining from Source ETF - now Invesco - as an ETF specialist. Commenting on the appointments, Michael John Lytle, CEO of Tabula, said: "Rhys and Adam join us at perfect time, bringing extensive experience in active fund management, ESG investing and quantitative index portfolio management. "The European ETF market has been experiencing robust growth and rapid evolution for years. The role of active management in shaping the industry is a new challenge - how to evolve in a way that simplifies and enhances the investments available to investors." Petheram added: "With one of the most experienced ETF teams in Europe and the backing of Janus Henderson, we are well-positioned to capitalise on our strong position and accelerate our growth by continuing to offer market leading passive ETFs, while also expanding into active strategies." Tabula Investment Management was acquired by Janus Henderson in May, marking the firms entry into European ETFs. The acquisition meant Janus Henderson is set to launch a suite of active ETFs in Europe while retaining Tabulas fixed income range.

Adam is an Independent Consultant at Adam GB Consulting, a position he has held since 2024. Prior to this, he worked at UBS from 2016 to 2023, where he served as Associate Portfolio Manager, Associate Director, Portfolio Manager, Director, and Quantitative Researcher. Before his time at UBS, Adam was at Source ETF from 2012 to 2016, holding roles as Director of Investment Management, Associate of Investment Management, and Analyst of Investment Management.

He earned an MSc in Mathematics from UCL, completing his studies from 2008 to 2012.
