Paxton has extensive experience in insurance adjusting, both in Canada and international markets. Before joining Charles Taylor, Paxton worked at a leading Canadian law firm as well as a management consultant to global organizations, focused on corporate strategy, operational improvement, and innovation. Robert is the Group Head of Strategy and Business Development at Charles Taylor, a position he has held since January 2022. Previously, he served as Vice President of Strategy & Performance at the same company. In addition to his role at Charles Taylor, he is a Management Consultant at CoreBlue Consulting.

From October 2014 to December 2019, Robert was a Partner at Social Venture Partners Calgary. He also served on the Fund Development and Communication Committee at EducationMatters from September 2014 to January 2019. Prior to these roles, he worked as a Specialist in Client Service Delivery at McCarthy Tétrault from September 2014 to July 2017.

Robert has extensive experience in athletics, having been a Professional Athletics Coach (NCCP Level 1) at Skate Canada from 2002 to 2016. He worked at Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. from May 2012 to March 2014, where he held the roles of Business Manager and Management Consultant. Before that, he was an Internationally Competitive Pairs Figure Skater from 1998 to 2010. He began his career as a Sales Professional at Tiffany & Co. in 2006 and continued in that role until 2007. Additionally, he completed an internship at Lloyds of London in June 2004.
