TALNT Limited ("we," "our," "TALNT") is dedicated to safeguarding the privacy and security of the information we gather in relation to the TALNT services that are governed by this policy ("Privacy Policy"). TALNT services offer people intelligence and research services to our clients to facilitate high-quality and profitable growth (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy governs our Services, as well as our websites and other online platforms, including those used to access our Services ("Online Platforms"; collectively with the Services, our "Products").
WHO ARE WE?
TALNT provides market intelligence solutions for tracking executive job moves across industries. We allow our users to access and utilise our extensive database of executive job moves, promotions, departures, and industry trends, all sourced and derived from publicly available information. We streamline the process of gathering and analysing people intelligence data, saving valuable time and resources for our users.
Furthermore, we have developed a Chrome extension that uses AI to generate summaries based on details selected by a user. It solves the problem of spending valuable time rewriting profiles from LinkedIn for common manual tasks such as producing talent reports, market maps, and long lists. It analyses and processes information available on LinkedIn profiles.
I. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
The information we gather about you may differ based on the nature of our relationship with you. Our Services offer clients people intelligence services, such as information our clients may find beneficial in establishing a business relationship with you, including:
- Publicly Available Information
We may collect information about you from publicly accessible sources such as public registers, trade and industry references, professional directories, or print and broadcast media and company
websites. This information may include your name, age, LinkedIn URL, business contact information, employment history, family and professional affiliations.
- Information from Other Data Providers
We may also gather information about you from information providers, or "data brokers," such as demographic information and professional or employment-related information. We may also collect information about you when you use our Products, such as when you visit or use our websites or other Online Platforms, including:
- Directly Provided Information
This includes contact and sign-in information, employment information, geolocation data, transaction and billing data, and correspondence you send to us.
- Automatically Collected Information
We collect internet, electronic activity, and other information automatically from the devices, browsers, and apps that you use.
We also receive some of the information described above from other sources, including from other users of our Products, marketing partners, entities that sell data, and third-party services and organisations.
II. USE OF INFORMATION AND PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
We use and otherwise process each of the categories of information identified
above for the following business purposes:

Where legally required and we have no other valid legal basis to process your information, we will obtain consent (for example, to provide you with marketing information in accordance with applicable law), which may subsequently be withdrawn at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before it is withdrawn.
Where we need to collect information by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services).

to us for a variety of business purposes, , such as billing, payment processing, customer service, email deployment, advertising and marketing, security and performance monitoring, maintaining or servicing accounts, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying customer information, research, data hosting, auditing, and data processing.

We may share your information in connection with a substantial corporate transaction, such as the sale of a website, a merger, consolidation, asset sale, initial public offering, or in the unlikely event of
bankruptcy.
Legal purposes:
We may disclose information to respond to subpoenas,
court orders, legal process, law enforcement requests, legal claims or
government inquiries, and to protect and defend the rights, interests, safety, and security of our corporate affiliates, users, or the public.
With your consent:

If you access third-party services such as social media services through the Services, these third-party services may be able to collect information about you, including information about your activity on the Services, and they may notify your connections on the third-party services about your use of our Services, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

You should use caution in disclosing information while participating in these areas. We are not responsible for the information you choose to submit in these public areas.
IV. ADVERTISING, COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
When you use our Products, we and our third-party advertising partners use cookies, pixel tags, local storage, and other similar technologies (collectively, “cookies”) to collect information from your browser or device.

You have the right to be provided with transparent, coherent information about how we use your data and your rights in relation to the use of your data. That is the purpose of this privacy policy.
You have the right to obtain access to your information (if we’re processing it), and certain other information (like that provided in this Privacy Policy).This is so you’re aware and can check that we’re using your information in accordance with data protection law.
The right to rectification
You are entitled to have your information corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
This enables you to request the deletion or removal of your information. We may retain limited data to provide services, troubleshoot issues, and analyse usage. We aim to minimise retained data, keep it secure, and only use it to deliver our services. Output generated by our Services are deleted automatically after 30 days. We'll comply with valid deletion requests unless we're legally required to keep certain information.
The right to restrict processing
You have rights to ‘block’ or suppress further use of your information. When processing is restricted, we can still store your information, but may not use it further. A note will be made on your record to ensure the restriction is respected in the future.
The right to data portability
You have rights to obtain and reuse your personal data for your own purposes across different services. For example if you decide to switch to a new provider, this enables you to move, copy or transfer your information easily between our IT systems and theirs safely and securely, without affecting its usability.
The right to object to processing
You have the right to object to certain types of processing, including processing for direct marketing (i.e. if you no longer want to be contacted with potential opportunities).
The right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint about the way we handle or process your personal data with your national data protection regulator.

If you have given your consent to anything we do with your personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time (although if you do so, it does not mean that anything we have done with your personal data with your consent up to that point is unlawful). You may be entitled, in accordance with applicable law, to object to or request restriction of processing of your information, and to request access to, correction, deletion, and portability of your information or more information about our information practices.

information for:
- baseless or excessive/repeated requests, or
- further copies of the same information.
Alternatively, we may be entitled to refuse to act on the request. Please consider your request responsibly before submitting it.

VI. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
By using the Products and providing us with information, you understand and agree that we may transfer and store your information on servers located outside your resident jurisdiction. Some of the entities (such as third-party vendors) to which we disclose information may be located outside of the EEA, including in countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. We take appropriate steps to ensure that such personnel and third-party vendors are bound to duties of confidentiality, and we implement measures such as standard data protection contractual clauses to ensure that any transferred information remains protected and secure. We do not knowingly collect or sell any information from children, as defined by applicable law.

Information will be retained only for so long as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out above and consistent with our retention policies, in accordance with applicable laws. Because we are in the business of providing information and people intelligence services to our customers, we will retain data in our secure database until we find that it is no longer useful to our customers.
We have implemented appropriate security measures to protect information against potential risks such as loss, theft, interference, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures aim to ensure the reliability, accuracy, completeness, and currency of the data for its intended use. However, it's important to note that no data storage system or transmission over the Internet or any other public network can guarantee absolute security, accuracy, completeness, or currency.
Please be aware that information collected by third parties may not have the same security safeguards as the information you provide to us. We cannot be held responsible for the security of such information.
IX. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update the Privacy Policy, we will revise the “Effective Date” date above and post the new Privacy Policy.
