The Board has nominated <strong>Gaelle Olivier</strong> for election as a new independent member of the Board. <strong>Joseph P. Landy</strong>, independent member of the Board, will step down from the Board following the AGM. Furthermore, and with immediate effect, <strong>Wolf-Henning Scheider</strong>, Partner and Head of Private Equity, will join Partners Group’s Executive Team.</div><div><br></div><div>Gaëlle Olivier has 30 years of experience in financial services. After a first career in the financial derivatives industry, Gaëlle joined AXA Group in 1998, where she held several senior executive roles over the next 20 years, ten of which were spent in Asia. In 2016, she was appointed CEO of AXA Groups Property & Casualty business, and a member of the AXA Group Management Committee. Most recently, she joined Société Generale in 2020 as Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific activities and then held the role of Group Deputy General Manager and Chief Operating Officer until the end of 2022. Through her Board committee assignments, Ms. Olivier will contribute to Partners Group’s strategic Board-level initiatives with a focus on clients and operations.<br><br></div><div>Steffen Meister, Executive Chairman of the Board, Partners Group, states: ”We are delighted to welcome Gaëlle to our Board. Societe Generale Taps John Jansen for West Coast Investment Banking Role

John is the Managing Director and Head of Technology Mergers & Acquisitions at UBS, a position he has held since January 2022. Prior to this, he served as Managing Director and Head of Technology M&A at Mizuho Americas from November 2016 to January 2022. He was a Director in Technology M&A Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets from January 2011 to November 2016. Before that, he worked as a Vice President/Associate in Investment Banking at Canaccord Genuity Inc. from 2008 to 2011 and as an Associate in Investment Banking at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. from 2007 to 2008.

Earlier in his career, John was an Associate in Investment Banking at Vrolyk & Co. from 2006 to 2007. He co-founded and served as CEO of Arcxis Biotechnologies from 2004 to 2006. From July 1999 to August 2003, he worked as a Capital Markets Trader and in Business Development at Charles Schwab.

John holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business (2003 - 2005) and a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the University of California, Davis (1994 - 1999).

<p>Barclays CEO in Italy, Enrico Chiapparoli, will leave the British lender to head Societe Generale in his home country from Nov. 11, the French bank said.<br><br>As country head for Italy, Chiapparoli will have direct supervision of global banking and investor solutions in the country, reporting to Alvaro Huete, deputy head of global banking and advisory for Societe Generale.<br><br>He has 30-year experience in the Italian corporate and investment banking industry and has also been responsible for Barclays Central Eastern Europe and EMEA Automotive.<br><br>Chiapparoli will replace Alessandro Gumier, who will retire at the end of 2024.<br><br></p>
