Martina is the President of S&P Global Ratings, a position she has held since March 2022. She has previously served in five roles at the company, including Executive Managing Director, Head of Global Risk Services, Chief Strategy Officer, Managing Director of Global Strategy & Business Development, and VP of Operations for Structured Finance. Prior to her tenure at S&P Global Ratings, she was a Partner/Manager at Mitchell Madison Group from October 2004 to January 2010, and from October 1998 to October 2004, she worked as a Strategy Manager, Consultant, and Analyst at Accenture.

Martina holds a Masters degree in Business Studies with a focus on Marketing and French, as well as a Bachelors degree in Business/Commerce, both from the University of Galway.

Steve is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel at S&P Global, a position he has held since September 2016. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Quanta Services from September 2014 to August 2016. Before that, he was Head of Legal at Hess Retail Corp from September 2013 to September 2014. He spent 4 years and 9 months as EVP and General Counsel at Dean Foods Company from August 2008 to April 2013. Earlier in his career, he worked in a legal role at Kimberly-Clark Corporation from June 1997 to January 2006.

Steve earned a J.D. in Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

S&P Global named Eric Aboaf as its next chief financial officer, pulling the executive from financial services provider State Street. The New York credit-ratings company said Aboaf, who will start in February, will oversee all aspects of the companys finance function. He will report to incoming Chief Executive Martina Cheung, who starts in November. Cheung said Aboafs track record of delivering growth, as well as his understanding of markets and the regulatory landscape will help deliver value for shareholders. Aboafs departure from State Street came on the same day as the Boston financial-services company reported its third-quarter results. State Street said Aboaf will work closely with the company until he steps down to ensure an orderly transition and that a search for a successor is underway. Christopher Craig will continue to serve as interim CFO at S&P until Aboaf joins.

Eric is the Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer at State Street, a position he has held since May 2022. He joined the firm in December 2016 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to State Street, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Citizens Financial Group, Inc. from April 2015 to December 2016. Erics career at Citigroup spanned from February 2003 to March 2015, where he held various roles including Treasurer, CFO of the Institutional Client Group, CFO of the North American Consumer Group, and Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and Capital Allocation. He was also a Partner and Co-Head of the US Financial Services Practice at Bain & Company for 10 years, from 1993 to 2003. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Project Manager at Oliver Wyman from 1989 to 1992.

Eric earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1986 - 1988) and holds Bachelors Degrees in Business and Engineering from The Wharton School (1982 - 1986).
