<h1>Chubb names new head of France operations.</h1><div><br>Chubb has named <strong>Benoit Chasseguet</strong> as country president for its France operations, which, while subject to regulatory approval, is effective immediately. Chasseguet, who has been the companys regional marine officer for Continental Europe since 2013, will replace the outgoing Veronique Brionne, who has decided to leave the firm.<br><br>In this new role, Chasseguet will be responsible for the insurers property and casualty, accident and health, and consumer lines operations across the country. He will continue to operate in Paris, reporting to Chubb Continental Europe , Middle East, and North Africa division president Sara Mitchell.</div><div><br></div>

Vice President (VP)

Peter is the Division President for Continental Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa at Chubb, a position he has held since his promotion in September 2024. He has previously served in six roles at Chubb, including Country President for Australia & New Zealand, Head of Property & Casualty for Australia & New Zealand, Assistant Vice President & Product Manager for D&O, EPL & Crime in Chubb Specialty Insurance, Executive Protection Practice Leader in NSW, Corporate Unit Manager for the Executive Protection Practice in NSW, and Senior Underwriter in the Executive Protection Practice. Between 2006 and 2007, he worked as a Broking Consultant at Mega Capital Pty Ltd. Prior to that, he was with AIG from 2003 to 2006, where he held positions as an Underwriter in Financial Lines and Product Development Associate in Financial Lines.

<p>Giardiello will report to George Ohsiek, Vice President, Chubb Group and Chief Accounting Officer, and be based in Chubbs Philadelphia office. As Global Controller, Giardiello succeeds Mong-Diep "Dee" Le, who was recently named Chubbs Chief Auditor.<br><br>"Adding outside skills and perspectives to the deep knowledge and expertise in corporate finance and accounting that already flourish at Chubb makes us even stronger," said Peter Enns, Executive Vice President, Chubb Group and Chief Financial Officer. Before that he held senior finance roles at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, Marsh & McLennan and AIG. Giardiello has more than 30 years of broad-based operating, management and financial experience at both multinational Fortune 50 companies and Big 4 public accounting firms. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. Johns University in New York and is a Certified Public Accountant. Greg is currently the Global Controller at Chubb, having joined the company in September 2024. Prior to this, he served as the Deputy Finance Chief Operating Officer at QBE Insurance from June 2022 to September 2024. Before his time at QBE, he held roles at QBE North America from June 2016 to June 2022, where he was the Chief Accounting Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Greg also has experience as the Chief Financial Officer at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance from May 2014 to February 2016 and as the Deputy Global Controller, Risk & Insurance Services at Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc from April 2012 to April 2014.

During his tenure at AIG from 2004 to April 2012, Greg held various positions including VP & Comptroller at Chartis US, CFO of the Corporate Segment, and VP of Management Reporting. Prior to AIG, he was the VP of Planning and Analysis at Prudential Financial from 1997 to 2004. Greg began his career as a Manager at Deloitte from 1990 to 1997.

Greg completed his education at St. Johns University from 1986 to 1990.

Ben is the Country President for Australia and New Zealand at Chubb, a position he assumed in September 2024 after nearly 8.5 years with the company. During his tenure, he has held seven previous roles, including Global Broker Unit Manager for Victoria, Head of Accident & Health for Australia and New Zealand, Deputy Head of Accident & Health for Asia Pacific, and Head of Consumer for Asia Pacific. Prior to Chubb, Ben worked at Allied World for 7 years and 7 months as Senior Vice President, Country Manager for Australia, and Head of Professional Liability for Asia Pacific, from December 2008 to June 2016. He also served as Vice President and Regional Manager for Southeast Asia and China in Financial Institutions and Crime at AIG from July 2005 to December 2008. Earlier in his career, he was a Financial Institutions Underwriting Manager in the Financial Lines Division at Chubb from June 2002 to June 2005.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance and Laws (Hons) from Macquarie University.
