Dominic Wong, who was head of intermediary distribution Asia at BNY Mellon IM, has joined Eastspring. Eastspring Investments has hired BNY Mellon Investment Managements intermediaries head to fill a similar role. Based in Hong Kong, Dominic Wong joins the $239bn asset manager as regional head of intermediary sales, according to a release on 23 August. He reports to chief distribution officer Salman Haider, who said that growing the intermediary business is a key priority for Eastspring. At BNY Mellon IM, Wong oversaw the asset managers intermediary business across Greater China and Southeast Asia. Before that, he was head of Northeast Asia intermediary business at Fidelity International for over a decade.

Prior to this, she served as the Chief Sales Marketing Officer at Eastspring Investments Berhad from November 2013 to May 2024. Before that, she was the General Manager at Hong Leong Asset Management from April 1997 to April 2013.
